Delaware Park - Race 8 - Approximate Post Time: 4:45 pm 

We give out a lot of favorites here but today we are going to take a chance with a horse that is 12/1 on the morning line.  Let’s take a shot with #5 LEMON JUICE.  Lemon Juice was claimed three starts back at Pimlico for $10,000 where he finished fifth beaten almost 5 lengths going 5 furlongs on the turf.  In that race the winner and second place finishers came back to win.  In his next start against $7,500 starter allowance foes, also at Pimlico going 5 furlongs on the turf, he ran 8th beaten only 6 lengths.  Once again the first two finishers in that race came back to win there next starts.  His last race once again at Pimlico was an off the turf affair where he went 5 furlongs over a muddy main track finishing second beaten a half length.  In that race the winner and third place finishers came back to win.  Lemon Juice is back at Delaware where he has 3 wins from 5 starts and he will be going 6 furlongs where he has 4 wins from 9 starts and if the track comes up wet he has a win and two seconds over wet surfaces.  Ten pound apprentice Erasmo Martinez rides for trainer Julio Cartagena.
