I must be insane. I believe it was Einstein who said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." Call me crazy but I'm gonna pick #6 Bikini Babe in race #4. I've gone on record saying she was the best place bet of the meet with 5 runner up placings and now 4 in a row. What is NOT doing the same thing over and over is that trainer Doug (don't call me William) Cowans is employing Perry Ouzts as the jockey. I don't think I've ever seen Dougie ride Scoot 'N Boot - but I'm guessing he's figured out this filly could use the urging of the top jock for her best effort. See ya in the looney bin!
The Goof On The Roof Says.....
Any shot we can sweep the final weekend? We'll give it a try in race 7, focusing on #2 Tellalittlesecret. Now, we probably could have got a little more exotic for a play (in terms of a horse who will go off at a better price), but that would not do justice to just how impressed we were with this mare the last time she ran. She was DEAD LAST off the corner and hit the front by the eighth pole. Even more impressive was the fact that she drew away.....while GEARED DOWN!! If that's not enough, in all our view, sans #1 Stroppy, this is by far an EASIER race than she won the last time. Looks too good to be true......but we think she makes it 4 in a row!!
